The other day I went a Donna Williams Speech on Autism called “Just Act Normal”.

It was interesting to find out about how to use various things she said, eg. How to make someone who’s obsessed with trains, good at maths by putting numbers on the carriages then driving the train past them so they see the numbers.
It was that speech that made me want to start this blog.

I saw her speech 2 yrs ago called Autism as a fruit salad, I read a poem then.

Hi All!
This is my first blog! Let me fill you in!
I am a man living in biggish town in Yorkshire, and I’m nearly 29.
I also have Aspergers Syndrome, which is a syndrome on the Autism scale,
this means I can’t read Body Language very well, and I’m not very good at some things.

I was diagnosed at the age of 16 with Aspergers, so from 2005 to now I haven’t managed to find a job.
I like computers and consoles, and I also like to program things, my fave languages are .NET (VB,C# and C++ not in that order) and Java.

Although Aspergers does limit me to some things, it gives me alot of plusses, including been good at computers, very socialable, kind, gentle and overall a nice guy.
